Many PCANZ members from Northland spent the first weekend of May at the Printopia Festival/Print Fair, enjoying all on offer from attending print workshops, presenting as guests, watching demonstrations, listening to guest speakers, and seeing what other printmakers and regional print groups & retail outlets had on display at their stands. Northland members Virginia Guy and Joanna Fieldes were there as individual vendors, with their own stands of work. Being ready for it with enough printworks was daunting in the lead up but turned out to be a very successful experience. All in all, it was a great event and so good to mix with other printmakers from around New Zealand and abroad.

Te Kowhai Print Trust have an exhibition called ‘Voices of Dissent’, opening on Saturday 24th May, which is an exhibition of protest prints from their archives. For further information please go to their website.
