Reading Group:
The PCANZ reading group has continued to meet quarterly, both in person, and over zoom throughout the year. Expertly facilitated by Steve Lovett, the group is delving into, and reflecting on the language and culture of printmaking and its place in our society. For example, at the most recent meeting Steve suggested;
“A question we might want to examine in our responses to the reading is how we see art as a product of ongoing negotiation between the individual and society, where every print bears the imprint not only of the artist’s hand but also of the world in which it was made.”
Please contact Steve directly if you would like to be included in future readings and gatherings. s.lovett@auckland.ac.nz
