The Toi Ako Te Kauwhata is calling for artists in our local region to participate in our community Artist exhibition. It is open from 10th to 12th October, at Toi Ako Artspace, Waerenga Rd, Te Kauwhata. We kindly request that you complete an artist application by August 31. This weekend is designed to connect all our local creative communities, share and celebrate their collective creativity and provide opportunities for the public to engage with the art, the artists who make it, and their own inner creative selves. 

An exhibition will be held in St Margaret's Hall, alongside workshops, demonstrations, performances and collaborative arts opportunities at the Toi Ako Artspace and the surrounding areas:

  • Thursday 9 Oct - Pack In & Opening Night 

  • Friday 10 Oct - Schools and ECE day

  • Saturday 11 Oct - Public Programme

  • Sunday 12 Oct - Public Programme

  • Monday - Pack Out
