Wellington Report December - February 2026

Margaret-Ann Barnett

After an eventful year for local printmakers, which included a visit to Whanganui to see Julia Ellery's wonderful retrospective, several local exhibitions, and the mighty task of sorting 750 prints for the 10x10 exchange, (what a privilege to see hundreds of beautiful, varied prints all in one place - and what a heroic effort by Nicki Frances who masterminded the project), and our monthly Sunday meet-ups at the Learning Connexion.

Planning is underway for 2026. Here is the tentative schedule for our Sunday meet-ups in case anyone visiting Wellington wishes to join in. We'd love to have you! You'll see there are two, two-day workshops tentatively planned for April and August. We'll confirm these and provide further details early in the New Year, and again, we would welcome anyone from out of town who would like to attend. Printmakers Meet-ups 2026
