ABC Bestiary Books in Heritage Collection
We are very pleased to announce that an archival set of four ABC Bestiary Books has been acquired by the Auckland War Memorial Museum and the books are now in their Heritage Book Collection.
The ABC Bestiary Collaborative Project took place in 2022.
Rebound Project Prints Online
The Print Rebound Project closed 29 November 2024.
An online exhibition of the final prints is now online.
Printopia 2025 2-4 May

NZPPA2025 entries are now open and close on 16 December 2024. PCANZ is proud to be a sponsor of the Main Print Prize again this year. The annual New Zealand Painting and Printmaking Awards are held at Artspost galleries in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton.
Summer School 2025 Scholarship NOW OPEN
The Gary Tricker Summer School Scholarship is now calling for applications to attend Summer School 2025. The scholarship assists an emerging printmaker to attend the annual PCANZ Summer School. Applications close 1st November 2024
National Youth Art Awards Print Prize 2024
PCANZ Hamilton representative Vicki Jones presented the print award for the Waikato Society of Arts National Youth Awards 2024. PCANZ has sponsored this award for some years as part of its aim to promote printmaking. This year’s winner is Penamino Tuia, a student at Dilworth School.

New fund for Summer School Scholarship
PCANZ is excited to announce a new fund has been created to support the Summer School Scholarship, now named the Gary Tricker Summer School Scholarship. Applications will be called for, when Summer School 2024 expressions of interest information goes out.

Exciting news! PCANZ book publication “PROOF: Two decades of printmaking” has been published and due to be publicly released in November 2022 at the retail price of $70 available at selected bookshops throughout NZ.
Printopia Festival 2022 a success
The Printopia Festival was a hugely successful inaugural event that showcased the variety and exciting possibilities of printmaking. Print Council of Aotearoa New Zealand was proud to be involved.
