Jackie Knotts
Janice Giles has had a very successful exhibition at Imprint Gallery. Visitors respond especially to her quirky humorous depiction of cats. Framed in her large collection of op shop frames and very reasonably priced, Janice has been flat out finding new work to replace those sold.
Andrean Green has moved out and her space is now our exhibition area where Jackie has moved my press making it a studio gallery.
It will be interesting to see how many printmakers exhibit at the first Tauranga Art Show. I know Sally-Ann Davies from Plateau printmakers will be there.
Jackie will have more of her cut paper linocut collages at the Tauranga Art society Expo in October. Print club still meets once a month at the Incubator to share ideas and see what work each of us is doing. Lori has an exhibition in Hamilton coming up.
