"Ten members from our local Christchurch/Canterbury area, plus one from Hokitika, have just finished an amazingly successful two week exhibition at the Pumanawa Gallery in the Arts Centre in Christchurch. We had some great conversations with people who came into the exhibition, about 50% of whom were tourists, and we were all lucky enough to sell some work. There was a broad range of print processes on display - some framed and an even bigger selection of unframed works spread across 3 racks. We set up a table near the entry with a display of print equipment, brayers, inks and various printing plates - a zinc plate, drypoint, woodcut, lino and collagraph plates. It was fabulous to be able to have the PCANZ loan press there as well as this was a great conversation starter. We all agreed that it was a great experience and are very keen to have another exhibition at Pumanawa in a couple of year's time."
